Heather Sweeney (she/her)
Heather Sweeney, RN, MSN, CEN, is a seasoned critical care nurse with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. She currently works in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), but her diverse career has spanned both inpatient and outpatient care. Heather spent over a decade in the Emergency Department, including navigating the challenging first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. She also served as a nurse manager for several years, where she gained valuable leadership experience in managing teams and improving patient care outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Heather is passionate about supporting healthcare workers in maintaining their enthusiasm for the profession. She is deeply committed to helping her colleagues sustain their energy and resilience in a demanding field, ensuring that the well-being of healthcare professionals is prioritized as much as patient care.

Through her continuing education programs, Heather focuses on empowering healthcare workers to prioritize their well-being, build emotional resilience, and continue to thrive in their careers. By fostering a supportive environment for healthcare professionals, Heather helps others find lasting fulfillment and inspiration in their work, even amidst the challenges of today’s healthcare landscape.
