Heather Sweeney (she/her)
Heather Sweeney, RN, MSN, CEN: I'm a critical care nurse with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. I currently work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), but my career has spanned both inpatient and outpatient care. I spent over a decade in the Emergency Department, including navigating the challenging first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic. I also served as a nurse manager for several years, where I gained a lot of valuable leadership experience in managing teams and improving patient care outcomes in fast-paced environments.

Beyond my clinical know-how, I'm really passionate about supporting healthcare workers in maintaining their enthusiasm for the profession and am committed to helping my colleagues sustain their energy and resilience in such a demanding field. I want to ensure that the well-being of healthcare professionals is prioritized as much as patient care.

Through continuing education programs, I focus on empowering healthcare workers to prioritize their well-being, build emotional resilience, and continue to thrive in their careers. By working to foster a supportive environment, I aim to help others find lasting fulfillment and inspiration in their work, even amidst the challenges of today’s healthcare landscape.

Join me in my mission to help healthcare workers stay engaged, inspired, and resilient while providing exceptional care to their patients.
